Associate Degree Programs

The Associate Degree Program (ADP) is a two-year academic program introduced in Pakistan as an alternative to the traditional B.A./B.Sc. degrees. It is designed to provide practical, job-oriented education and to meet the educational and employment needs of a growing population. The introduction and expansion of ADPs in colleges across Pakistan are both timely and essential.
In response to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan’s education reforms and the growing demand for skill-based, job-oriented education, Bint-e-Islam College proposes the establishment of Associate Degree Programs (ADP). These two-year degree programs will replace the traditional B.A./B.Sc. programs and will offer students an affordable, flexible, and practical pathway to both employment and further studies.

Objectives

1. To provide students with recognized two-year degrees that align with HEC guidelines.
2. To prepare graduates with job-ready skills in fields such as commerce, business, education,
and information technology.
3. To offer an academic pathway for students to enter BS programs through lateral entry (5th
semester).
4. To make higher education more accessible and affordable, especially for underprivileged
students.
5. To contribute to the national workforce by producing professionally trained graduates.
